The Northwest Hospital Foundation serves as the main development and fundraising organization for Northwest Hospital & Medical Center. Since the Foundation’s inception in 1977, it has facilitated the donation of millions of dollars from the community, as well as funding grants from private organizations and government agencies. Over the years, these generous gifts have increased Northwest Hospital’s ability to serve our community through new and expanded facilities, new technologies and innovative practices and procedures. Among these are Easy Street, a one-of-a-kind therapy environment incorporating a full-size replica of a city street; the Seattle Breast Center, which provides all-digital mammography and evaluation by specialized breast radiologists; the Robert L. Hancock Emergency Medicine Pavilion; and the da Vinci S Robotic Surgical System, a state-of-the-art minimally invasive alternative to conventional laparoscopic surgery or open surgery.
At the Northwest Hospital Foundation, we are dedicated to exceeding our donors’ expectations and holding ourselves to the highest standards for good governance and ethical fundraising.
