At Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, we have a team dedicated to working with our patients to:
- Interpret insurance coverage.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Notify the insurance company and obtain authorization for treatment.
- Investigate payment sources that might be available to you, such as Medicaid
and charity care.
- Make payment arrangements.
Account Information
Northwest Hospital patients
work with the Patient Financial Services Department who may update or add insurance information. If
you think you may have difficulty paying for medical services or paying an existing
bill, contact the Patient Financial Services Department at 206-368-6440 or toll free 1-877-364-6440. We’ll
evaluate your circumstances, in strictest confidence, to see if you might be
eligible for financial assistance based on income and family size.
Patients who have been discharged
from the hospital or who have questions about their bills should contact Patient
Financial Services by calling or visiting their offices at the Northwest Outpatient
Medical Center (OPMC), located on 10330 Meridian Ave. North, Suite 260. Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Patient Financial Services Department phone number is 206-368-6440 or toll free 1-877-364-6440.
The Patient Financial Services Department, as well as the Cashier, is located
at OPMC. However, any Admitting Representative may accept a patient payment
at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center’s main campus if change is
not required (exact amount in cash, checks, and credit cards accepted).
